Sapphire foundations: No expense spared.
"O afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,
I will build you with stones of turquoise,
your foundations with sapphires.
I will make your battlements of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels
and all your walls of precious stones." Isaiah 54:11,12
Can you imagine building a castle out of precious stones?
A castle that is constantly mauled and beaten, surrounded by assailing armies much of the time..?
It's a castle in constant use, subject to all kinds of wear and weather. Yet the architect chooses to construct it from such precious stones.
"But WHY?" we might ask.
"I will build your foundations with sapphires.." He says.
"But nobody will see them- they'll be underground!" we say.
"Doesn't matter. This is the way I want to do it."
"I know what's underneath- what your foundation are made from."
This is a 'No Expense Spared' build- A picture of internal castles and the care, the craftsmanship and the love that goes into our building.
